Exploration and innovation form the basis of my artwork. I don’t believe in the conventional practice of creating a very cohesive body of work, where the art pieces are like siblings dressed in similar clothes.

I alternate between traditional paintings and digital drawings using common geometrical concepts as my building blocks. Throughout millennia, lines, triangles, pyramids, spheres and other geometric tools have been fundamental to art as well as architecture. I often start a project from a mental image by exploring new ways of combining these shapes, discarding many creations along the way until I have an evocative piece.

A true work of art to me is one that interacts with its viewer in an intimate way; a meditative piece that promotes different emotions every time it’s seen. Each one of us leads a uniquely complex life, and how we experience art is quite personal. One size does not fit all, and this has been an important factor in the success of abstract art forms.

My art is abstract, expressive, and sometimes conceptual. However, I have no interest in labels, or categorizations. Alongside each art piece, I may drop a few hints, clues to my original thought process; the rest of the experience is entirely up to the viewer.
